The connection between our physical and mental health is undeniable. Holistic in reference to therapy is defined as the treatment of the whole person, taking into account physical, mental and social factors. Aside from psychoanalysis and emotional processing, we will also explore how your physical health plays a role in your healing, and discuss things like diet, exercise, sleep quality, your menstrual cycle, nervous system regulation, and wellness practices. I am trained in ACT and CFT — two approaches that focus on mindfulness and compassion, as well as in yoga and somatic practices, which use the signals of the physical body as another avenue to better understand and treat our mental health issues.

As we progress, you can expect a mix of classic talk therapy, inner child work, somatic or present-moment awareness work, challenging of limiting beliefs/behaviors, and value-driven goal setting. Every session looks a little different, depending on your needs for that week!
