The tenets that make up my therapeutic approach are :

  • A woman with short, wavy blonde hair is seen outdoors with her eyes closed, gently touching her chest with one hand, during sunset or sunrise.

    Self-Compassion Practices

Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) is a methodology designed to help individuals develop self-compassion to manage difficult emotions like shame, self-criticism, and fear. Rooted in evolutionary psychology, CFT emphasizes cultivating kindness toward oneself and others, helping individuals create a balanced, compassionate mind to regulate emotions, enhance resilience, and reduce suffering. This approach combines mindfulness, imagery, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to foster a nurturing, inner supportive voice.

    Inner Child Work

Inner child work is a therapeutic approach focused on connecting with and healing the child-like aspects of ourselves that hold unresolved emotions and needs from early life experiences. It involves acknowledging, validating, and nurturing these parts, which often influence our behavior, relationships, and self-esteem in adulthood. By addressing past wounds through compassion and self-care, individuals can integrate these parts of themselves, leading to greater emotional resilience, self-acceptance, and inner peace.

    A Feminist-Led Approach

A collaborative, empowering approach that views personal struggles within the context of larger social and cultural systems. We’ll explore how societal expectations, gender roles, and power dynamics may have shaped your experiences and self-beliefs. This approach values your lived experience as expertise, challenges oppressive patterns, and supports you in reclaiming your voice, agency, and sense of self. Rooted in equality, respect, and inclusivity, feminist-led therapy helps you achieve growth that feels both personally and collectively liberating.

    A Focus on Integrity & Value-Based Living

Embodying integrity is about aligning our actions, words, and choices with our core values and beliefs. It involves a commitment to honesty, authenticity, and accountability, where we act in ways that truly reflect who we are and what we stand for. This work requires self-awareness to explore and understand our values, courage to make decisions that may be difficult, and resilience to stay true to ourselves even when faced with external pressures. Embodying integrity brings a sense of inner peace, consistency, and trustworthiness, as we know we are living in a way that honors our true selves.

Many of the women I work with identify with one of these roles :

  • A woman in front of a laptop looking stressed

    The High Achiever

You're the person everyone depends on. You set high standards for yourself, work hard, and take pride in doing things well. From the outside, you appear capable and composed, but underneath the constant striving is a woman always on the brink of burnout. You find it difficult to slow down, rest without guilt, or believe you've done "enough." You long for more balance, self-compassion, and a life that isn't driven by perfectionism.

  • A young girl with wavy brown hair standing in a field

    The Empath

You experience the world deeply. You're intuitive, compassionate, and often the person others turn to for support. Because you care so much, it's easy to absorb the emotions and needs of those around you while neglecting your own. Together, we'll strengthen your boundaries, regulate overwhelming emotions, and help you care for yourself with the same kindness you offer everyone else.

  • A woman walking down a sandy beach leaving behind footprints

    The Woman in Transition

Life no longer fits the way it once did. Whether you're navigating a career change, the end of a relationship, motherhood, an empty nest, or simply questioning what's next, you're ready for something different — even if you're not quite sure what that looks like yet. Therapy offers a space to reconnect with your values, gain clarity, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned.

    The Modern Mother

Motherhood is deeply meaningful, but it can also be incredibly overwhelming. You're balancing the needs of your children, partner, work, and home while forever-wondering when you'll have time to care for yourself. You don't have to choose between being a devoted mother and honoring your own well-being. Together, we'll create space for both.

I also support women in:

• Navigating life transitions in your twenties, thirties, and forties

• Cultivating healthy, intentional relationships and meaningful friendships

• Embracing singlehood with confidence and purpose

• Dating with clarity, self-worth, and integrity

• Recovering from anxiety, chronic stress, and burnout

• Strengthening mother–daughter relationships and healing family dynamics

• Building healthy boundaries and confident communication

• Integrating mindfulness and holistic wellness into everyday life

• Exploring identity, cultural experiences, and Latina mental health issues

No matter what brings you to therapy, our work is ultimately about helping you build a more compassionate relationship with yourself so you can live with greater authenticity, confidence, and connection.
