Find Your Village:
A WOMEN’S GROUP FOR FOSTERING FRIENDSHIPS, CONNECTION, AND DEEP MUTUAL SUPPORT
As a women’s therapist, I kept hearing my clients say:
“I know I need friends on the same life path as me, but I don’t know where to find them.”
“Where are all the women who want the same things I do?”
“I’m sick of the party scene, but I don’t know how to connect with people outside of those spaces.”
“I’m in my self-growth era, and I just want friends who care about the same things.”
“I am so tired of superficial connections and small talk — I want deep, meaningful friendships.”
If you’ve heard yourself saying or thinking something similar, I’m excited to say I’ve finally created a container for women to have an opportunity to connect with like-minded people, who share the same values, are doing the same work, and are tired or frustrated with superficial connections.
Finding Your Village is an 8-week group designed specifically to create a rare space to begin, build, and sustain meaningful female friendships. Our time together will be spent getting to know one another in ways we rarely do in the outside world — with intentionally guided conversations, structured opportunities to share & listen, and weekly topics that will help you dive deep, both as a group and individually.
This isn’t your typical group therapy — it’s a beautiful mix of sharing, exploring, mixed with light-heartedness, with space held gently by your guide, Ferny Barceló, a women’s therapist with over a decade of experience.

What you can look to gain from this group?
1. A Real Chance for Genuine Connection!
We’ll create time for introductions that go DEEP. We’ll not just share the usual casual tidbits about ourselves, but have a chance to talk about what we’re actively working on personally, and what we’re seeking out of relationships and friendships.
2. Structured & Guided Group Time
No awkward silences here! All conversations, whether big group or small break-out groups, will have a designated structure and topic each week. There will be plenty of prompts to help you break the ice and participate (as much or as little as you want) in our conversations.
3. Time for Introspection
Each week will have a theme that circles around some of the main tenets of Ferny Barcelo’s work with women : inner child work, somatic experiences, guided visualizations, family system explorations, and value-based relationship work.
4. Small Group Work
The larger group will be broken up each week to smaller groups. Women will be matched up with other women who are on similar paths of life to better the opportunities for one-on-one connections.
5. An Safe, Empathetic Container
If you struggle to find a place to be vulnerable, or explore tender topics safely, this group will be built just for that. Group dynamics and participants will be vetted and monitored to make sure we’re creating the safest, most supportive space for all.
6. Building Authentic Connections
The ability to align relationships with personal values and find deeper fulfillment.
An emphasis on equality, mutual respect, and shared growth in partnerships.
