The Shakti Collective :

A WOMEN’S GROUP FOR FOSTERING FRIENDSHIPS, CONNECTION,

AND DEEP MUTUAL SUPPORT

“I’m in my self-growth era, and I just want friends who care about the same things I’m working on.”

“I’m longing to connect with other like-minded women, but don’t know where to find them.”

“Making friends is so hard at this age — where am I supposed to find my village?

____

As a women’s therapist, I would hear some version of this on almost a weekly basis from my clients. Women who were evolving past superficial connections, and craving deeper, more meaningful female friendships. But the question was always “where do I find them?”

The Shakti Collective is an 8-week group designed specifically to create a space to begin, build, and sustain meaningful female friendships. Our time together will be spent getting to know one another in ways we rarely do in the outside world — with intentionally guided conversations, structured opportunities to share & listen, and weekly topics that will help you dive deep, both as a group and individually.

This is not a processing group or group therapy — it’s a place to foster authentic connection & conversations, and to get to know women on the same path as you.

The space will be held by your guide, Ferny Barceló, a holistic therapist with over a decade of experience working exclusively with women, with a focus on fostering a value-driven life & relationships.

Client Testimonial

“It’s difficult to imagine the last 6 years of my life without Ferny’s wisdom and affirmation. I’ve experienced transformative growth that has made me a more resilient, confident, loving human—and I credit much of that growth to the work that Ferny and I do together. I can think of few better investments I have made in my life than the time spent talking with Ferny.”

Client Testimonial

“Ferny has been my trusted confidant throughout so many chapters in my life — breakups, transatlantic moves, loneliness, new relationships, career shifts, family drama, marriage and pregnancy … the changes are endless, but Ferny’s calm guidance is a constant throughout all my seasons. Ferny is always able to illuminate what I cannot yet see, and gently breaks down my challenges into palpable situations that I feel empowered to handle after our sessions. She has a gift of providing meaningful, deep advice that is simple to comprehend and apply.”

Client Testimonial

“Ferny created a safe and supportive space for me to fall apart — so that we could work on putting me back together to be a new, stronger version of myself. She could see things in me that I couldn’t see yet, and asks all the right questions to bring out what is really underneath your pain. I am a stronger woman who treats herself and her feelings with so much more kindness because of my work with Ferny.”

✺ FAQ’s ✺

  • This group is meant to be a progressive learning experience, with each week’s topic building on the last, and opportunities to build stronger bonds as the weeks go on. It is highly recommended you attend all sessions to receive the full benefit of the group. We ask that anyone missing more than two sessions wait for the next cohort to apply.

  • Sept. 25, Oct. 2, Oct. 9, Oct. 16, Oct. 23, Oct. 30, Nov. 6, and Nov. 13

We will meet from 7 - 8:30pm in-person in my office near Westlake, in central Austin.

  • Yes. We can split your invoice into two equal payments of $187.50 each, which will need to be paid before the official start date of the group (one half at registration, the second on or before our start date of Sept 25th).

  • The intention behind the application is to better create a well-rounded group by including a variety of women from all backgrounds and walks of life. It is also to ensure participants joining have similar intentions and goals that align with the group’s overall purpose.

  • We will have a WhatsApp group where you can stay informed on the group and connected with your peers, and any content/handouts used will be provided once you come back. Please plan on missing no more than two sessions.

  • We will begin with quick check-in’s from the group, and move on to learn and discuss that week’s topic. From there, we may do small breakout group discussions focused on connecting over that week’s theme. This can include working on journaling prompts, structured conversations, or visualization exercises. We’ll wrap with time for any Q&A’s and discuss next week’s topic.

  • The group size will be capped at twelve total participants. The intention is to keep it intimate, creating a space for authentic connections with your group peers.

  • Payments can be refunded if the request comes before the registration deadline on Sept. 19th, 2025. All payments must be submitted before the start of the group sessions.

If the group doesn’t fill at least ten spots, we will cancel this cohort and all participants will receive a full refund.
