Present Practice Fall 200hr Yoga Teacher Training
The Present Practice School of Yoga offers immersive yoga teacher trainings rooted in yoga as both a practice and a path. Our in-studio programs, registered 200-hour and 300-hour trainings, and focused 50-hour specializations are designed as containers for study, embodiment, and self-discovery.
Grounded in the wisdom of the Eight-Limbed Path, our curriculum weaves together asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, and the art of teaching. Guided by our pillars of Discipline, Discovery, and Devotion, trainees cultivate steady practice, deep inquiry, and trust in the unfolding journey.
Whether beginning with a 200-hour training, advancing through the 300-hour program, or refining focus through a specialization, each experience meets you where you are—supported by experienced mentors, thoughtful structure, and a community rooted in integrity and presence.
These trainings are for those called not only to teach yoga, but to live it—with clarity, intention, and heart.

The Shakti Collective Women's Group
Shakti Collective is an intimate eight-week journey designed for women who are ready to deepen their relationship with themselves while cultivating meaningful connection with others. In a world that often asks women to perform, produce, and care for everyone else, this is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and remember that transformation doesn't have to happen alone.
Over the course of eight weeks, we'll explore themes such as self-trust, boundaries, values, self-compassion, nervous system regulation, intentional relationships, and inner child work through a blend of guided discussions, mindfulness practices, reflective journaling, somatic exercises, and experiential learning.
Each gathering builds upon the last, creating a safe and supportive community where women are encouraged to show up authentically, witness one another's growth, and practice living with greater intention both inside and outside the circle.
Journey to the Self : A Professional & Personal Development Retreat
Eight hours of personal and professional development with Fernanda Barceló, MA, LPC — a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of clinical experience who makes complex psychology feel genuinely useful.
Dive deep into values-driven living, breaking down conditioned belief systems, and building the kind of healthy boundaries that actually stick — all while tucked away in a one-of-a-kind jungle eco-sanctuary with treehouse-style domes, cenote swims, and ancient Mayan ruins just down the road. Whether you're a mental health professional looking to bring evidence-based frameworks directly into your client work, a healthcare provider wanting sharper tools for navigating burnout and boundaries, or simply someone ready to do a little honest self-examination — this curriculum translates. This is the quality, heart-led content you'd normally find at a large conference under fluorescent lighting — except here, it's delivered in the heart of the Yucatán, with a rooftop pool waiting for you when class lets out.

The Goddesses of Hindu Mythology
Within Hindu mythology, the goddesses are living archetypes that reflect the many expressions of feminine energy within us all. In this workshop, we’ll explore the stories and symbolism of Durga, Lakshmi, and Parvati, and how their wisdom continues to shape yogic philosophy and practice.
Through storytelling, reflection, and discussion, we’ll connect with Durga’s fierce protection and boundaries, Lakshmi’s devotion to abundance and beauty, and Parvati’s grounded love and inner strength. Together, we’ll explore how these energies live within us, and how to call them forward with intention.
We’ll also weave in simple, meaningful rituals you can bring into your daily life, creating space for devotion, embodiment, and connection to the sacred in the everyday.
